As Tenggol Island is a small island, the only transportation is via boat to the mainland.

You can drive to Kuala Dungun jetty and take a 50min boat trip to island.

If you don’t feel like want to drive all the way to Terengganu, you can opt for flights (Air Asia & Malaysia Airlines) to Terengganu, then took public bus/taxi/grab to jetty.

If you travel from Kuala Lumpur or Selangor, we suggest having 3 days 2 nights trip to Kuala Dungun and go for day trip to Tenggol Island. Do remember to bring enough cash before you start your journey to island.
