5 MUST HAVE ITEMS IN RENT HOME – KITCHEN

 

In old days, all kitchenware and cookware are big and bulky. Cookware are designs to suit for family size. But now young people tend to work at city and rent a room. Demand of small and portable kitchenware is high. Below are the MUST-HAVE items I recommend for you.

TOP 1  MINI ELECTRIC MULTI COOKER

Tired of eating outside? Tired of eating same food? Why not try to learn cooking?

Why do you need it? Compared to traditional cooker,t his is small and portable. You can cook anyway as you wish, from stir fry to stew.

If you are renting a room with shared kitchen, you won’t want an anonymous roommate to use your cooking utensils without your permission. And so, you can keep it inside your room when you are not using it. Moreover, you can even cook inside your room or even the living room area.

 

A plus thing, you can buy one and put in office. Since it’s small, you can keep in on your desk. Just bring over to pantry to preheat the food. And you no longer need to queue up to use microwave in your office.

 

Suggestion: Smallest size is about 1.5L to 1.7L. if you cook for 2 pax, 3.5L might be a better option. When you prepare steamboat or army stew, it won’t be too stuffed inside the pot.

 TOP 2 AIR FRYER

My favorite items! Are you afraid of frying but you love cruchy food? This is your saviour.  Save your time and shorten your cooking process. Most important save you from the oil enemy!

Imagine you are late for home and hungry; you can just take out pre-marinated food from freezer put it in Air fryer and adjust the time and temperature. Ta-daa! Your dinner is served.

 

Instead of frying and preheat, Air fryer can steam like steamer, baked and roasting like oven. Just search the recipe online and be a chef yourself! You can even design your own recipe! Practice makes perfect!

 

Suggestion: Smallest size in the market is about 1.2L. But I don’t recommend buy small size air fryer. It won’t fit in if you want to cook fish/chicken dishes. Mostly suitable for frying snacks. You should consider size of 3L and above.

 

 TOP 3 ELECTRIC WATER DISPENSER

Tired of lifting water gallon for your water dispenser machine? Need kettle to boil water for coffee or tea? Feel like water dispenser machine eat up the space? Just install electric water dispenser pump on your water gallon.

 

 

Understand that some of the owner didn’t include water filter when you rent. So, you could either buy or use gallon water. But there is problem if you use gallon water. When you use it, you have to lift and pour it. With this, you can just install it and use.

Suggestion: Now some of the water dispenser pump come with temperature control function. You can just pump water with designated temperature. Save your kettle and use this. Simple and convenient especially for ladies.

 

 

 TOP 4 FOOD CHOPPER

One of favorite items too! Hate to chop -chop-chop? Nah, no more chopping. Cause food chopper will help you with this. Sharp blade inside helps to cut the ingredients in short time. From garlic and seasoning to meat and vegetables, food chopper help you cut into small pieces.

Many will ask are you sure about this? Well, if you compared with human cutting, for sure we will cut into sizes we want. But if you want convenient way and faster way, or you feel lazy to cut, this is a  must have items for you.

 

Suggestion:  Traditional type food chopper you need pull the string and rotate the blade and enable it to cut. But there is new type which is electric food chopper. You can just use with by pressing the button.

 TOP 5 MINI FRIDGE WITH FREEZER

This is special recommendation for you rents a room. You must wonder why should I need this?

Shared kitchen meaning your food is exposed to risk of being stealing. You never know who your roommate is. Can you assure that food is completely safe if you put it inside the fridge? You can’t! To avoid such unhappy cases happen, mini fridge with freezer is a MUST !

 

 

Then you will ask again? Even with mini fridge with freezer, you still cannot control and reduce the risks, right? You can if you put inside your room. Normal size fridge is way too big for your room. Mini one is just enough for you. For your nice and expensive food. 

Suggestion:  You still put some food inside your shared kitchen fridge. But nice and expensive food keep in your room. The home was rented before your hand, you never knew what they used for? Sometimes when you open it, it smells like rubbish. Don't risk your nice food for it !
